Most children transfer directly from the infant school ( and are therefore part of an organised group. This takes place during the child's last term. The parents of incoming children will meet the headteacher and class teacher in the summer term prior to their child attending the school.

The children in the infant school will also make a visit with their infant teacher to look around the school. This ensures the smooth transition from infant to junior. Children of junior age moving into the area may also seek places at our school. All admissions are now carried out by the LEA but the headteacher will meet prospective parents to discuss the administrative arrangements and to answer any questions prior to their attendance at the school.
